Andrea is survived by her husband Charles M. (Chuck) Fendrick; daughters and sons-in-law Lisa and Chad Rogers, Jennifer and Jason Watson and Jennifer and Gavin Dickman all of Bakersfield; stepsons and daughters-in-law Steve and Janine Fendrick of Temecula, CA and Jeff and Kathy Fendrick of Bakersfield; brothers and sisters- in-law Mike and Lenna Nichols of Ventura, Phillip and Julie Nicholls of Coble Skill, NY; sister Kay LaPoint of Wickuae, KY and brother Doug Scott of Santa Monica, CA. Andrea was preceded in death by her parents P.A. Nicholls and Helen Scott and her sister Wendy Brammer. She is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Andrea lived and worked in Bakersfield for many years. She last worked as an accountant with the firm of John Gaines, C.P.A. Andrea and Chuck were married in Reno, NV on December 24, 1985 and were later remarried at Christ the King Catholic Church in Bakersfield. As Multiple Sclerosis ravaged her body for nearly twenty years, Andrea fought back with courage and dignity. Even when pain and suffering was unbearable, she could flash her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She will always be loved and remembered by family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Services for Andrea will be on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., Bakersfield, CA. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Wallace, Bill Brown, Clay Youree, Jeff Racicot, Marvin Pritchett and Bill Purkiser. Following the service everyone is invited to the Kern County Fire Fighters Union Hall, 3615 Mt. Vernon Ave., for food and drinks. In lieu of flowers it is suggested that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, Donor Relations Center, 706 Haddonfiez Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
