Pastor Larry Woods will officiate. Juanita (Nita) went home to be with our Lord and Savior on July 16, 2005. Nita was born on December 2, 1919 to Peter Lee and Ella (Nance) Norman, in Oil Center near Bakersfield, California, where she had resided all of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Roy Norman, as well as two wonderful husbands, Willow Charles Stanley and Vernon Pierce. Juanita is survived by her sons, Tom and wife, Lynette Stanley, Bill and Darlene Stanley all of Bakersfield, Jerry and Gwen Stanley of Katy, Texas; and her daughter, Betty Wiggins and husband, Larry of Bakersfield. She leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Brent and Kim Stanley, Gena and Roger Graves, Dayna and Web Buhannon, Julie and Danny White, Scott and Heather Stanley, Jeremy and Kira Wiggins, Mason and Pam Stanley, Amy and Brett Shepard and Andrew and Sarah Stanley. There are ten dearly loved great-grandchildren, Andrea and Gaylan Graves, Parker and Bradley White, De Lynn and Mary Ashley Buhannon, Ema Gutcher, Leslie Shepard, Lauren Stanley, Noah Stanley and two more to be born in September. She also leaves many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Juanita loved her family and many friends and was happiest when she was serving others. She took pleasure in family events and caring for friends with an expected phone call or visit. She especially enjoyed being the number one fan of her grandchildren in whatever activity each one pursued.
