Belle Terrace Street, Bakersfield, CA with interment to immediately follow in Union Cemetery. Mildra Cleo Lynch was born in Leland, Mississippi, to Rufus Nunn and Lucile Jeffers on December 18, 1950. She accepted Christ at a young age. Moving to Bakersfield in 1969 after graduating high school, she has called the central valley home for over 35 years. Mildra was a career professional working in related nursing fields for over 30 of those years. A devoted member of Union Baptist Church, she became a member in 1996 under the leadership of Rev. John Turner, Pastor. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnnie and Mary Jeffers; father, Rufus Nunn; one brother, Charlie Dennis; two sisters, Bobbi and Shirley; one nephew, Perry Jeffers, and a special friend, Sydney Lynch. Mildra is survived by two children, Andne Jeffers and Tarra Palmer of Bakersfield, CA; mother, Lucille Nunn of Greenville, MS; three grandchildren, Essence, Journee and Jordan; four sisters, Joann Nunn, Mary (Charles) Fletcher, Patsy Nunn, all of Bakersfield, CA and Jennifer (Elijah) Smith of Greenville, MS; four brothers, Clarence (Clara) Jeffers of Bakersfield, CA, Robert Nunn, Herman Nunn and Tommie Nunn, all of Greenville, MS. Viewing and visitation is scheduled for Sunday, May 1, 2005, from 3:00 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Beloved Care Funeral Services, 115 18th Street.
