Theodore Lamar Olson 
5/9/1925 - 12/18/2005 

Ted was born to Theodore and Clara Jane (Weech) Olson on May 9, 1925 in 
Raymond, Alberta, Canada. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps and served as 
a Nose Gunner on B-24 Bombers in the Pacific area through the Iwo Jima 
campaign. After his discharge from the USAAC he married IlaMay Grace of Taft, 
the daughter of Pete and Hazel Grace. He also began his 40-year career as a 
journeyman lineman in the electrical trade, building and maintaining wooden 
and steel power lines. He was a first class lineman, well respected by his 
peers!! Ted is survived by his widow, IlaMay Olson; his son and his wife, Ted, 
Jr. and Asih; his daughter, Teri Olson; his daughter and her husband, Wendy 
and Rick Jones; his granddaughters and their husbands, Fenny and Rusty Evers 
and Kaylee and Mike Fitzgerald; his grandson and his fiancée, Ricky Jones and 
Mary Beth Mistretta; his three great-grandchildren, Drew, Kaya and Madison 
Fitzgerald; his brother and his wife, Bruce and June Olson; one sister, Jane 
(Olson) Ballard; plus many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 
in the West Side District Cemetery on Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. 
There are no visitation hours scheduled. Our special thanks to Optimal 
Hospice, SJH 4th floor nurses, Dr. Hua Lin and office staff, Dr. Anthony 
Valdez and office staff and our friends the Ashleys. Funeral arrangements are 
under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
