Michel was a long time resident of Bakersfield. He was born in Les Aldudes, France on April 1, 1933 and passed away on September 19, 2005. He came to Los Angles with his family in 1947, then moved with them to Bakersfield in 1951. He worked at several of the local Basque restaurants, most recently Chalet Basque from 1974 through 1992. He is survived by his two daughters, Helen Luttrell and son-in-law, Terry, Nicole Carlson; two grandchildren, Holly and Zachary; aunt, Denise Harriet; cousins, Ann Bauman and husband, Steve; John Harriet; and nephew, Gary Parola. He will be missed by all, for he had no enemies and knew no stranger. God Bless and Peace be with you. A special thanks goes to Edna Coats, J.B and Marie Curutchague for being there in his final days. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday September 22, 2005 at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Father Marcel Tillous will officiate, burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
