Visitation is scheduled prior to service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eleanor Espinoza, loving wife to Joe Espinoza and mother to daughter, Elisha and son, Elijah, passed away at her home in San Jose after a lengthy illness. Eleanor was born in Bakersfield and graduated from Arvin High School. Eleanor and Joe married right after high school and began their life together in San Jose. They shared 23 loving years together. Eleanor will be remembered for her strength and courage. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Despite fighting a serious illness for most of her life, you couldn't meet a livelier person. Eleanor did not dwell on her illness, but instead lavished precious love on her husband, children, grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends. Eleanor was loved very much and will truly be missed. Eleanor was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Ruiz; her grandmother, Celestina Ruiz and her brother, Angel Ornelas. She is survived by her husband, Joe, daughter, Elisha and son, Elijah Espinoza. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Gabrielle; grandson, Isaac; her aunt, Victoria; her father, Manuel; and her brothers, Manuel Jr., Tony, Robert and Julian Ornelas, as well as numerous extended family. Eleanor will be laid to rest beside her mother, grandmother, brother and uncles at Hillcrest Memorial Park, in Bakersfield.
