Jacqueline Jean (Osteen) Powell
May 27, 1933 - April 28, 2005

Funeral services will be held at Peters Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 2, 
2005, at 12 noon, for Jacqueline Jean Powell, age 71, of Wasco, who passed 
away on April 28, 2005, in Delano, CA. 

Jacqueline was born May 27, 1933, in Wasco, CA, the daughter of Clarence and 
Jesse Osteen. She was raised and attended the local schools in Wasco. She was 
a member of Kingdom Hall Of Jehovahs Witnesses.

My battle is fought and now I sleep. In accordance with Ecclesiastes 9:5 and 
Psalms 146.4 His breath goeth Forth. He returneth to the Earth. On that very 
day his thoughts perish.

I believe in the Resurrection (John 5:25-29) and pray I might be part of the 
great crowd. To Awake as Flesh and Blood in a perfect world, to see loved ones 
and friends who have gone before me. Jehovah has promised to wipe away the 
tears, and Almighty God always keeps his word.

Jacqueline is survived by her daughter, Janice Rickard and husband, David of 
Wasco; grandchildren, Yancey Rikard of Wasco; brother, Wayne Osteen and wife, 
Emma Lou of Bakersfield and sister, Helen Osteen of Bakersfield, and many 
nephews and nieces.
