Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2006 from 4-7 p.m., at Mission Family Mortuary, California Ave. and S Street. A Funeral service will be held at the Oildale Church of Christ, 2912 N. Chester Ave., Tuesday, January 3rd , at 10:00 a.m. Mr. Page was born August 25, 1921 in Checotah, OK. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII reaching the rank of Master Sergeant. After the war he moved his family to Bakersfield where he maintained his residence and raised his family. Robert met and fell in love with Kathy Clark in 2002 and were married. They enjoyed three wonderful years together. His eldest son, William Vernon Page of FL, preceded his father in death. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Page of Bakersfield and her family, son and daughter-in-law, Robert Page Jr. and wife, Michele of Mesa, Arizona; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and David Redman, Wallace, CA; daughter-in-law, Faye Page of Orlando, FL; five grandsons, Jeremy Redman, Justin Redman, Garrett Redman, Vernon Page and Brian Page; two granddaughters, Jennifer Page Tutt and Mary Page; 5 great- grandchildren, Emily, Kaitlyn and Hannah Redman and Kelsie and Lindsey Page. We will miss Bobs contagious smile, his love of shopping, cooking and good jokes. He was a wonderful man who shared his love for life with everyone he touched.
