James H. Perkins 
March 4, 1928 - February 4, 2006 

James H. Perkins born and raised in Bakersfield, California died at the age of 
77 at Mercy Hospital. James has one daughter that preceded him in death, 
Sheila Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Swayzine Perkins; five 
daughters; one son; sixteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. 
Visitation begins Friday, February 10th, from 4-8 p.m. at Hillcrest Mortuary. 
A celebration of new life honoring James will be held Saturday, February 11, 
2006 at 10 a.m. at Faith Christian Ministries. Pastor Linda F. Grant, 345 
Chester Ave., Bakersfield, CA.
