Oct. 12, 1943 - Dec. 18, 2005 Billy Wayne Peters entered this world on October 12, 1943. He was the 1st born son to Milton and Mac Peters. Bill married Darlene Sandy on June 19, 1964. They had two children, Stephanie and Brent. Bill worked for Santa Fe Railroad and then became a Truck Driver for many years (his CB handle, RED-DOG). Bill was a practical joker and there was never a dull moment in his presence. When you saw that grin you knew he was up to something. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and many friends and loved ones including Ivy the grandchild he never got to hold on this earth. On December 18, 2005, Bill went to meet his maker and without a doubt (after some discussion) he was let through the gates. He was in the arms if his Mama again and both were so happy. Bill had missed his mother greatly since her passing and really longed for her. Bill is survived by his children, Stephanie Peters, Brent and Terri Peters; his brother, Mike Peters and wife, Patti; his sister, Charlotte Adams, 3 nieces, 3 nephews, 2 great-nieces and 5 great-nephews; and fiancée, Sheila Luck. Dad, Bill, Billy Wayne, B.W., Uncle Bill A man of many names will be greatly missed. You left us quickly and unexpectedly. We all love you and will dearly miss you bus we are so happy that you are no longer in pain. Pallbearers will be Don Andreatta, Bobby Adams, Robert Adams, Bo Bispo, Kevin Elms, Gary Selvey. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Peters and Brent Peters. The family would like to send a very heartfelt thanks you to the nurses at Mercy Southwest Hospital that helped our father, brother and uncle to find the Lord Jesus Christ before his passing. Visitation begins Tuesday, December 20th, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary.
