Magnus Henry Petersen 
Services: Fri., Dec. 2, 1:30 p.m. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Friday, December 2nd, 1:30 
p.m., at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 7100 Stockdale Highway for 
Magnus Henry Petersen, 83, who passed away November 27, 2005, in Bakersfield. 
Reverend Monsignor Ronald J. Swett will officiate with private interment 
following. Mr. Petersen, born April 7, 1922, in San Francisco, had been a 
resident of Kern County for the past 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army 
during World War II and had been a self-employed petroleum distributor. He is 
survived by his wife of 56 years, Theresa; son, Gary Petersen and his wife, 
Debbie of Martinez and their children, Nicole and Ryan. No visitation is 
scheduled.
