Coby Gene Prather 
Services: Mon., Nov. 28, 1:00 p.m. 

Coby Gene Prather went home to our Heavenly Father on November 20, 2005. Coby 
was born in Bakersfield on June 19, 1955 to Judy and Robert Prather. Raised in 
Delano, he was a cold storage manager for 30 years. He loved his family, deep 
sea fishing, The 49ers, The Boston Celtics and Grapes! Coby is survived by his 
wife of 30 years Karen; son and daughter-in-law, Brock and Myra Prather; 
daughter, Allyson Prather; chosen son, Javi Guerrero; sister and brother-in-
law, Cammie and Tommy Murray; parents, Judy Prather and Robert Prather and 
Stephanie; grandmother, Lillian Ingram; and in-laws, Richard and Maureen 
Hamilton. He was preceded in death by brother, Dubb Prather and grandfather, 
Dub Ingram. Services will be held at Delano Mortuary with viewing on Sunday, 
November 27th, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. and funeral on Monday, November 
28th, at 1:00 p.m. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. Be 
at peace in eternity.
