Columbus Price 
Oct. 1, 1929 - Feb. 10, 2006 

Columbus Price, a kind and gentle man, passed on to a new life on February 10, 
2006, at the age of 76. Funeral services will be held at St. Emmanuel 
Missionary Baptist Church, 308 Martin Luther King Blvd., on Saturday, February 
18, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow in Union Cemetery. 
The repast will be held at 316 Clifton St. (661) 322-1191. A viewing and 
visitation is scheduled on Friday, February 17, 2006, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. 
and an hour of meditation from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beloved 
Care, 115 18th St., Bakersfield, CA. Columbus leaves to mourn his passing, his 
loving wife, JoAnn Price of Bakersfield, CA; one son, Jason Price; seven 
stepchildren, Theopolis Bell (Joann) of Tampa, FL, Arthur Bell, Lessie Bell-
Holliwell (Marc), Frank Cox (Nadine), Leroy Nicholson, all of Bakersfield, CA, 
Andy Taylor of Pleasanton, CA and Henry Norris of Corcoran, CA; four 
stepchildren, by a previous marriage Kenny and Manuel (Trudy) Calvin, Susie 
Brown-Lee (Paul), and Jimmy Blake, all of Bakersfield, CA; one sister, Flora 
Ambram of Arkansas; a very special niece, Peggy Kimble of Little Rock, 
Arkansas, and a host of other relatives and friends. For additional service
