He was the third of six siblings. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1957 with an honorable discharge. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a great storyteller who loved to tell them. He was very well read, and especially enjoyed history. His pastimes included crossword puzzles, reading, and watching old movies, especially westerns. Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife of 39 years, Linda; his loving daughter, Marissa; sister, Colleen; brothers, Neil, Jerry and Rick; sisters-in-law, Caryle A. Steves and Ruthe N. West and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia. Pallbearers will be Stanley Steves, Gary Steves, Steven Scholle, Jim Long, Randy Coats and Jacob Beck. He was a humble man with humble beginnings. His riches are now more than he could imagine.
