Robert R. Payne, Jr. 
July 29, 1952 - June 16, 2005 

Bob was born in New Cuyama, California and was a previous resident of Taft and 
Bakersfield. Bob graduated in 1970 from Bakersfield High School and served in 
the U.S. Navy. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Lorene Payne. He is 
survived by his daughter, Milessa of San Francisco; longtime friend, Barbara 
Friese; brother, Michael (Susan); sister, Diane Contreras (Bob); as well as 
numerous nieces and nephews. He was employed in the field of architecture and 
construction for over 30 years. Bob was a passionate wine lover and current 
resident of Atascadero. At the request of the deceased, no memorial service 
will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hoffmann 
Hospice.
