Beatrice Coffman 
Services: Fri., Aug. 19, 10:00 a.m. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., at 
Hillcrest Memorial Park for Beatrice Coffman who went to be with her Lord and 
Savior on August 15, 2005. Beatrice (Bea), 82, was born on November 9, 1922, 
in Naples, Kentucky. She married Charles Edward Coffman February 14, 1946. She 
was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Bea was a talented seamstress and 
taught sewing in the 4-H Club. She ran a sewing business out of her home where 
she sewed for the wives of many prominent leaders of Bakersfield. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Victoria Pennington; husband, 
Charles and brother, Roosevelt Jr. Survivors include her three children, Ann 
Fortner, William Coffman and Sherry Coffman; seven grandchildren, Trace, 
Robert, Michael, Roxanne, Nicole, Billy and Gary Fortner; five great-
grandchildren, Breahna and Preston Rusk, Brook Fortner, Devin Griffin and Kali 
(Lila) Schufletowski. Visitation begins Thursday, August 18th, from 4-8 p.m., 
at Mish Funeral Home.
