Dean Peterson 
Services: Tues., July 12, 10:00 a.m. 

Dean Peterson entered into rest peacefully in Paradise, CA, on June 6, 2005. 
Mr. Peterson was born in Ephraim, Utah, on January 17, 1915. There will be a 
graveside service on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at the West Side District 
Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m., in Taft, CA. For those who wish to pay their 
respects, a viewing will be held from 4:00 8:00 p.m., on Monday evening, July 
11, 2005, at West Side Family Mortuary, 1150 4th St., Taft, California. Dean 
is preceded in death by his 2 year old son, Jimmy Dean; his 1st wife, Lois 
Hancock Peterson; and brothers, LaVar, Max, Keith, Reed, Evan and Vaughn 
Peterson. He is survived by his 2nd wife, Lois Peterson, brother, Dale 
Peterson; sister, Betty Carter; and daughters, Sharlene Marsh and Linda 
Starnes. Dean is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. 
Dean lived in Taft for about 15 years and retired from Shaffer Oil Tool in 
Bakersfield, CA, at age 65. He has spent the last 11 months of his life with 
his daughter, Sharlene in Paradise, CA. He is now in Paradise to stay. May he 
rest in Peace. All funeral services are under the care and direction of West 
Side Family Mortuary (661) 763-1594.
