Beverly Mary Foss 
July 11, 1925 - May 29, 2005 

Funeral services will be on Friday, June 3rd, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Phillips 
for Beverly Foss, 79, who passed away gracefully on May 29th. Born in New 
Hampshire, Bev graduated from Addison Gilbert Hospital School of Nursing in 
Massachusetts in 1946. She married Clement A. Foss in 1947 and moved to 
Bakersfield in 1956. She worked at San Joaquin Hospital and Bakersfield 
Community Hospital for 23 years. Bev was a devout Catholic, enjoyed her daily 
walks, playing Bunco, traveling and monthly luncheons with The Girls. She will 
be remembered for her beautiful smile and lived for her family, especially her 
little ones. Bev is preceded in death by her husband Clement of 35 years and 
two sons, Al and Chris Foss. She is survived by her children, Steve Foss, Judy 
and Hank Dryer, Bob and Kathy Foss, Mary and Javier Herrera, Tammie and Jimmy 
Sitton, JoAnn Birdsall and Stephani Foss; siblings, William Piche and Eleanor 
and Rudy Berube; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and countless 
nephews, nieces and friends. A special thank you to Hoffman Hospice and 
Oakdale Heights. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2nd at Mish Funeral Home 
from 4-7pm. With Rosary starting at 7pm.
