In Loving Memory 
Roberta Edith Pierce (Bobbie) 
November 29, 1943 - June 12, 2005 

Roberta Edith Pierce was born November 29, 1943 in St. Louis, MO and died June 
12, 2005, in Bakersfield, CA. There are two ways of spreading light; to be the 
candle or the mirror that reflects it Edith Wharton. Bobbie was the candle and 
the mirror. Bobbie moved to California at the age of 16 and was a resident of 
Bakersfield for 20 years. She enjoyed working at Casa Serna Womens Home. 
Sharing in her loss are her children, Bridgett and husband, David Newsham of 
Crestline, CA, Tyresha Pierce of Brentwood, NY; and a son, Jamahl Greene of 
Central Islip, NY. Her five grandchildren, Paige and Madison Newsham, Anecia 
Watson, Mikhael Guzman, Megan Ronquillo and many friends, will miss her. All 
who had the pleasure of knowing her loved Bobbie. Not a day goes by that we 
dont think of her. She will live forever in our hearts. A special thank you 
must go to Margie and Nan for putting together a beautiful Memorial and a very 
special thank you to Rick S. for being such a good friend to our mother.
