Ken was born on January 12, 1929, in Bozeman, Montana. He graduated from Montana State University in Agricultural Engineering and was a Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. After a stint in the Navy, Kens career as a civil engineer took him many places. Ken worked on water supply and distribution projects in Hawaii, various locations in California, in the Panama Canal Zone, and in Thailand. He was a talented artist, primarily in steel sculpture. He was honored with two one-man shows at the San Diego Art Institute. Ken is survived by his wife of 50 years, Aureta (Rita); and his daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Karl Luft, of Templeton. He was preceded in death by his son, Wiley. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to Optimal Hospice.
