Kenneth Grant Pinkerton
Services: Tues., May 3, 3:30 p.m.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at 3:30 p.m. at the 
First United Methodist Church, for Kenneth Pinkerton, 76, who passed away 
April 28, 2005, at his home in Bakersfield. 

Ken was born on January 12, 1929, in Bozeman, Montana. He graduated from 
Montana State University in Agricultural Engineering and was a Registered 
Civil Engineer in the State of California. After a stint in the Navy, Kens 
career as a civil engineer took him many places. Ken worked on water supply 
and distribution projects in Hawaii, various locations in California, in the 
Panama Canal Zone, and in Thailand. 

He was a talented artist, primarily in steel sculpture. He was honored with 
two one-man shows at the San Diego Art Institute.

Ken is survived by his wife of 50 years, Aureta (Rita); and his daughter and 
son-in-law, Sue and Karl Luft, of Templeton. He was preceded in death by his 
son, Wiley.

The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to Optimal Hospice. In lieu of

as Lou Gehrigs disease), www.alsa.org, or to the charity of your choice.
