Aric Ansen Ponce 
June 29, 1982 - July 7, 2005 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., at 
Hillcrest Memorial Park. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, July 14, 
2005, from 4-8 p.m. Aric lost his life way too soon while walking home on 
Thursday night by being the victim of a violent crime. The suspect shot him in 
the heart, then took off in his car. Aric is the loving son of Gil and Gayla 
Ponce. Aric is survived by his brothers, Anthony, Arthur, Andre, and sister-in-
law, Angie Ponce. He has many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and 
many many friends, and a special aunt, Mari. But the loves of his life were 
Destiny and his daughter, Heaven Ponce. He was going to start a new job this 
week but never made it. Aric was always writing poems and drawing. He also 
loved to fish. We will miss him so much and our lives will forever have a void 
without him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trust Fund at 
Kern Schools Federal Credit Union on Oswell, Acct #609157400.
