Kathy Poulson 

Kathy Poulson born in Bakersfield, California, passed away August 29, 2005, 
after two years battling cancer with determination and a positive outlook, 
never complaining, having faith in God. Kathy was raised in Malta, Florida, 
1964-1980. She liked sports, played netball, ran the 440 and held the national 
broad jump record in the mid-70s. She also bowled at the old bowling centre in 
Msida and held 14 bowling house championships and won numerous bowling 
tournaments. She was a girl of strong character, had a happy personality, was 
very creative and did not know what the word can't meant. She was as strong as 
Katrina. She called Malta her home away from home. She spoke Maltese and has 
lots of Maltese friends as well as American friends. The song, I did it my 
way, fits her personality and the confidence she had. She is survived by a 
daughter from a previous marriage, a boyfriend of 10 years, her mother and 
father, a married sister and children living in Malta, two brothers with 
families in Texas, one sister in Florida, one brother, born in Malta, whose 
twin sister passed away in 1971, who is a Stryker Force Commander in Iraq. 
Kathy was a wonderful, loving daughter and sister. We love and will miss her 
dearly. May God bless her and be with her for eternity. The Lord is my 
strength and my song. He has become my salvation (Exodus 15:2). Any donations 
to the Hospice Movement would be appreciated.
