Elba C. Domingos 
July 26, 1916 - May 24, 2005 

Private funeral services were held in Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery today for 
Elba C. Domingos, 89, who died May 24, in Bakersfield. A native of Rector, 
Arkansas. She graduated from Taft High School where she met the love of her 
life John G. Domingos in Pismo Beach at a summer dance in 1934 and they were 
married in 1936. She is survived by her sons, Monte Domingos and wife, Jan and 
John Domingos and his wife, Judy, all of Bakersfield; grandson, Monte S. 
Domingos of Bakersfield; 2 granddaughters, Debbie Mota of Bakersfield and 
Darcé Netz, of Florida; also 4 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan, Justin and 
Michel. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gertrude 
Province; her brothers, Joy and Clois Province; and sister, Cleo Slatten and 
her devoted husband, John G. Domingos. A special thank you to the staff at the 
Hallmark and Hoffmann Hospice. At her request, in lieu fo flowers, donations 
be made to Hoffmann Hospice.
