Hadlock 1915 - 2005 Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2005, for Mildred E. Hadlock, 89, who passed away May 16, 2005, in Bakersfield, CA. Mildred was born August 13, 1915, in Superior, AZ, and resided in Kern County for 72 years. She was a homemaker for 70 years. Mildred came to Lost Hills, CA, in 1933 to visit her sister, Georgia Beeson. There she met her future husband, Ralph. They were married July 20, 1935. She loved to sew, golf, play with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and do home decorating. A group of four ladies who call themselves, The Syndicate, work together when painting or wallpapering their friends homes. They were Mary Herrick, Jean Waugh, Helen Pruitt and Mildred. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Elizabeth Putnam; her eleven siblings; and her husband, Ralph H. Hadlock. She was the last surviving member of her family. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Janet Woodard and husband, Dwayne of Tehachapi; sisters-in-law, Margaret Scofield of Oildale and Mildred Peale of Thousand Oaks. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Karen Rogerson (Garry), Prentice Woodard (Lori), Judy Lankford (Daniel), Kathy Mynk; and 13 great-grandchildren, Amanda W. Brandon, Krystle, Keenan, Kamille, Jamie, Jennie, Jessie, Joe, Bryce, Brittney, Danielle, Amanda L.; a very special niece, Joan Beeson Gill of Taft; and several nieces and nephews.
