The service will conclude at this location. Emily was born on November 8, 1919, in Bakersfield, to José Azevedo and Roza Leonard Azevedo. She passed away on August 22, 2005 in San Joaquin Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel C. Quinton; sister, Frances Lodetti; brother, Louis Azevedo and grandson Brandon Camp. Emily is survived by her sisters, Rose Marie Prado, Pauline Angelastro, Margaret Staber and her husband Ted; and brother, Joseph Azevedo and wife, Josephine; two daughters, Linda Ingalls and Norma Quinton their husbands, Tom Ingalls and Silver Ordiway; grandsons, Andrew Camp, Kevin Thornton and wife, MeiChi; grand-daughter, Suzanne Schwartz; and great-grandchildren, Gwen and Keaton Thornton and numerous nieces and nephews. Emily attended local schools and graduated from KCHS 38. Emily has been retired for 20 years from Avon and Amway. She loved working whether in the home or in the garden or in sales. She had very good work ethics. Emily will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, give to Alzheimer's Research. Published in the Bakersfield Californian on 8/26/2005.
