Maria D. Ramirez

April 21, 1940 – March 4, 2006

Maria D. Ramirez passed away on March 4 at her home in Golden Hills with her 
family by her side. Maria fought a very long battle with cancer before she 
left us to rest.

Maria was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Abraham and Santos Del Toro. 

Maria is survived by her loving husband, Jose Ramirez; daughters, Liz Madrigal 
and husband Jorge and children; Norma Loza; Nora Ochoa and her sons Richard, 
Jesse and Robert Ochoa; sister, Gloria Alvarez of Texas; brothers, Abraham, 
Fred and Armando Del Toro; grandchild Connie Chavolla; and all of Maria’s 
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Maria was laid to rest next to her son, George Ochoa, in Beaumont. Services 
were held at Weaver’s Mortuary Chapel with a graveside service at Stewart 
Sunnyslope Cemetery in Beaumont.
