The funeral mass will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Church on Friday, December 2nd at 9:00 am. Concepcion Chi Ramos went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2005. She was born in the Philippines on December 8, 1968 and lived Bakersfield for ten years. Concepcion is survived by her parents, Sergio and Evangeline Ramos; son, Armil Ong, Jr.; and daughter, Mary Angela Ong. She also is survived by her brother and wife, Elbert and Rosemarie Ramos; two sisters, Amelou Ramos, Merissa and Michael Steuwer; niece, Michelle and nephew, Matthew Steuwer. Chi also leaves many other loving relatives and friends here in the United States and the Philippines. Chi was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Church, an avid collector of stamps, coins, and stuffed animals. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, and she loved all the lights and decorations of the season. She was a person who was totally organized and paid great attention to details in all her endeavors. Her field of expertise was that of a clinical lab scientist for ten and half years. Chi will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and mother, and a loyal friend. Her generosity and giving spirit will never be forgotten. Visitation will begin Tuesday and continue through Thursday from noon to 9:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Laurel Cemetery in Murrieta, CA on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary Funeral Directors Legacy.com Published in the Bakersfield Californian on 11/29/2005.
