Burial will be held on Saturday, at 10:30 a.m., in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Coalinga. Mr. Reed was born in Salinas on April 13, 1967 and passed away at his home in Taft on December 24, 2005. He was extremely proud of his family. He took pride in his wife and children. He was also very proud of working 20 years in the oilfields. He started in the oilfield with his father, Ben and followed in his footsteps. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held the Aaronic Priesthood. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Reed and his sister, Robyne Reed Rodriquez. Mr. Reed is survived by his wife, Amy Niccole Reed; his son, Brandon Tildon Wallace; his daughter, Ryley Jean Wallace, all of Taft; his mother, Norma Reed of Coalinga; his sister and her husband, Debbie and Jay Eyrich of Lemoore; his niece, Ryan Ortez of Lemoore; his nephew, Randy Ortez of Paso Robles; his sister and her partner, Janet Reed and Amelia of Bakersfield; his brother, Mike Reed of Coalinga; his sister and her husband, Christie and Mike Wride of Redwood City; his niece, Megan; his nephew and niece, Kyle and Samantha Rodriquez of Coalinga; his mother-in-law, Debra Root of Wells, Nevada; his grandfather, Gene Root of Coalinga and by his brother-in- law, Jason Anderson of Taft. There are no visitation hours scheduled and the services are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home 765- 4111.
