Thelma Elliott Reed

Thelma Elliott Reed passed away on February 13, 2006, at the age of 76. She 
was a long time resident of Bakersfield. Her family moved here about 70 years 
ago. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Ira, Elvis, Ray and Douglas 
Elliott and sister, Bobby Redding; sons, Gary, Michael and Terry Reed and 
daughter, Sandra Sexton. Mrs. Reed is survived by brothers, Richard and Jim 
Elliott; sisters, Juanita Headrick, LaVerne Sharp, Betty Redding and Barbara 
Casey; sons, Ron and Timothy Reed and daughters, Brenda Jensen, Kathy Brown, 
Debra Riebli, Rose Herrera, Ellen Barron and Samantha Brown; 26 grandchildren 
and 29 great- grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Friday, 
February 17, at 10:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd.
