Ethel Ritter 
Sept. 20, 1908 - Nov. 13, 2005 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17th, at 10:00 a.m., at Mish 
Funeral Home-Oildale for Ethel Ritter, 97, who passed away November 13th, in 
Bakersfield. Ethel was born September 20, 1908, in Big Piney, Wyoming and has 
resided in Bakersfield for 59 years. She was well known for volunteer work 
with the Fairfax Grange, Kern County Commission on Aging and the Rasmussen 
Senior Center. Ethel is survived by her children, Leslie Ritter, James Ellis 
and Betty Sherer. Also sharing her memory are 15 grandchildren and 18 great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Ritter. Ethel 
will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16th, from 
4 to 8 p.m., at Mish Funeral Home.
