Henry was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. He attended local schools and graduated from East Bakersfield High School. Henry was an electrician by trade. He held two jobs and did them well. He was always in a hurry as if there werent sufficient hours in a day to complete whatever he had started. He had a hobby of collecting cars which provided relaxation for him. Henry was a free spirit and a very independent person. He was kind and caring person who would greet you with a shy smile and did his best to maintain a positive attitude. He never burdened anyone with his problems. Henry moved to Las Vegas due to the employment opportunities there and thoroughly enjoyed living there. As we remember Henry, there are comical situations which continue to bring laughter and also some sadness due to not having visited with him more often. Due to the legal technicalities we will be unable to bring his ashes home to his family. However, no one can take away the love we continue to feel for Henry. We were blessed that he was a part of our family. Henry was preceded in death by our parents, Tereso and Enriqueta Rodriguez; brother, Enrique; sisters, Terri and Elvie. He leaves to cherish his memory, sisters, Sally, Sylvia, Mercie and brother-in-law, Bill, Vicki and Nato; brothers, Roman and sister-in-law, Connie, Pete and sister-in-law, Irma, Fred and sister-in-law, Donna and brother, Louie. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and friends. And ye now therefore have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
