Paul Russom 
Services: Wed., Dec. 28, 11:00 a.m. 

Nicheside services will be at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama 
Ln., Wednesday, December 28th at 11:00 A.M. for Paul Russom, 84, who passed 
away December 22, 2005 in Bakersfield. Rev. Richard Thompson will officiate as 
Paul joins his beloved wife, Kathleen, for eternity. Paul was born December 
14, 1921 in Memphis, Texas, and joined the Navy in 1940. He served as a 
Pharmacists Mate through World War II and the Korean War, and was discharged 
in 1953. He moved to Bakersfield where he met his wife, Kathleen. They were 
married on August 28, 1954, and spent 50 years together. Paul was employed as 
a salesman for Farmer Brothers Coffee Company for 26 years before he retired 
in 1979. He was a long time member of the Canadian Club of Bakersfield and the 
First Methodist Church of Bakersfield. He is survived by his sons and 
daughters-in-law, Steven and Lynn Russom of Houston, Texas, and Brian and 
Deysi Russom of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Allison, Delaney, and Daniel 
Russom; step-grandchildren, Craig and Karen Barnard; and sisters, Wilma Probst 
and Irene Byrom. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bakersfield 
S.P.C.A. No visitation is scheduled.
