Resnicke April 15, 1956 - April 1, 2005 A Celebration of Life in honor of Arlin D. Resnicke will be held at Peacock Park, across from Calvary Bible Church, at the intersection of Denise and Manor, on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. Brother, friend, and dog rescuer, Arlin died Friday, April 1, 2005 in Bakersfield, California, after a long bout with cancer. Arlin was a life-long resident of Bakersfield and attended Foothill High School. He was a highly respected master mechanic and motorcycle racer, but his passion was Siberian Huskies and he founded the Kern Siberian Rescue organization. He was known nationwide for his natural ability to work with the most seriously abused, undisciplined dogs and, in time, restore their loving, devoted nature. Arlin was able to retrain and ultimately adopt out several hundred dogs to new, hand- selected families. He was the Siberian Whisperer. Family and friends will miss his unique personality. If you knew Arlin, you either loved him or hated him, and chances are it was both! Arlin placed his hope and salvation in his Lord, Jesus Christ. He would want remembrances sent to the Siberian Husky Rescue Referral, 303 Cameo Drive, Danville, CA 94526 (925) 820-1162.
