Gabriel Reyes 
April 17, 1963 - July 27, 2005 

Funeral services for Gabriel Reyes, 42, will be held Thursday, August 4, 2005, 
at 10:00 a.m., with a graveside service to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 
3700 River Blvd. Pastor Frances Edge will officiate. Gabriel is survived by 
his mother, Ascencion Reyes; son, Ryan Reyes; daughter, Selena Reyes; four 
brothers, Anthony Reyes, Daniel Reyes and Rudy Reyes Jr., all of Bakersfield 
and John Reyes of Colorado; two sisters, Alberta Chavez of Bakersfield and 
Gloria Martinez of Lamont; numerous nieces and nephews. Gabriel was preceded 
in death by his father, Rudolph Reyes; grandparents, Amelia Guerra and Antonio 
Reyes; aunt, Ramona Contreras and sister, Peggy Lee Reyes. Casketbearers will 
be John Reyes, Lionel Sanchez, Daniel Reyes, Anthony Reyes, Billy Bevos, and 
Ryan Reyes. Honorary casketbearers will be Rudy Perez, Adrian Reyes and Josh 
Reyes. Gabriel was a wonderful uncle, father and friend. We will miss you so 
much and miss the laughter you brought to us each day. No visitation is 
scheduled.
