"Rich" Richards Services: Sat., May 7, 11:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. at Rankin Cemetery in Walker Basin for Harold "Rich" Richards, 72, who passed away at his home in Bellflower on April 30. Rich was born in Huntington Park, CA, October 18, 1932. An Army veteran who served in the Korean Conflict, he had been a plumber for over 50 years. Growing up, Rich spent many years ranching with his uncle, Arthur Esponda, in the Paiute and Onyx region. He grew to love the people and he made it a point to make a trip up to visit the burial site of his relatives and friends and felt great pride in maintaining the Esponda and Ames section of the cemetery. Mr. Richards is survived by his wife, Muriel; daughters, Jana Richards and Joanne Bloot and husband Marty; grandchildren, Andrew and Joshua Bloot and Leah Richards and his aunt, Lutey Peterson.
