Russell H. Robertson 
Services: Sunday, Aug. 14, 12 p.m. 

A memorial service will be held at noon on Sunday, August 14, 2005, at the St. 
Johns Lutheran Church, 959 Valley Rd., in Arroyo Grande for Russell H. 
Robertson, 89, who passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2005. Pastor Randy Ouimette 
will officiate. Russell was born in Hudson, Colorado, on May 8, 1916 and was a 
graduate of Greeley High School in Colorado. He was a veteran of World War II, 
serving in the United States Navy. Russell previously lived in Canoga Park, 
Thousand Oaks and then Bakersfield before moving to Oceano in 2000. He was a 
charter member and Past Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge #2190 in Canoga Park. 
Russell was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a past member 
of the Caledonia Masonic Lodge #486 in Bakersfield. He was preceded in death 
by his siblings and is survived by stepsons, Stephen, David and Brian Light; 
nieces, nephews and stepgrandchildren. Memorials may be sent to the American 
Cancer Society or to the Columbarium Building Fund, at St. Johns Lutheran 
Church, 959 Valley Rd., Arroyo Grande, CA 93420.
