Gloria Mary Freitas 
Services: Wed., July 27, 8:30 a.m. 

Recitation of the Rosary followed by a Celebration of the Mass of Christian 
Burial for Gloria Freitas, 73, will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 
on Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at 8:30 a.m. Rev. Father Dan Coyle will be the 
Celebrant and interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Southwest. Gloria 
passed away July 23, 2005 at her home after an illness of a few months. A 
Bakersfield native she had resided all of her life in the Greenfield area 
where her parents were dairymen and farmers. She was a member of UPEC #95, 
LUSO and the Sacred Heart Church Altar Society. Survivors include her 
daughter, MaryAnn Mendez and husband, Randy; sister, Emily Villacano; brother, 
Arthur Rodrigues and many nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by 
her loving husband, Frank, in 1994. Pallbearers will be Billy Barns, Tony 
Freitas, Joey Freitas, Jordan Freitas, David Boultinghouse and Kevin 
Boultinghouse. The family would like to extend their thanks to Glorias 
caregivers, Tommie, Lisa and Rochelle and a special heartfelt thanks to 
Hoffmann Hospice. Visitation will be today from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
