Carmen Rodriguez 
July 14, 1934 - Aug. 27, 2005 

Visitation will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., on 
Thursday, September 1, 2005, 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 
7:00 p.m., in the Chapel. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be at Our Lady 
of Perpetual Help Church, 124 Columbus, Friday, September 2, 2005, at 10:00 
a.m. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Carmen was born in 
Phoenix, Arizona. She moved to Bakersfield in 1950. Carmen will always be 
known for her love of shopping, watching her soaps (novelas), caring for her 
houseplants, feeding her hummingbirds and listening to Mexican music. She also 
had a love for all animals. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her 
family. Carmen is survived by her husband of 51 years, Frank Rodriguez; 
daughters, Laura Fahey and husband, Kevin, Melody Mazza-Lopez and husband, 
Ric; grandchildren, Karissa Mazza, Tyler Nitayangkul and Cole Mazza; sister, 
Mary Aguirre. Thanks to all our family and friends for your prayers and 
support. She will be greatly missed.
