Amancio G. Rodriquez "Mancio" 
April 9, 1930 - June 20, 2005 

Visitation for Amancio Gomez Rodriquez Mancio will be held at Basham Funeral 
Care (3312 Niles Street) on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and at 
St. Joseph Catholic Church (1515 Baker Street) from 5:00-8:30 p.m. and the 
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 
St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday morning, June 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. 
Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Mancio has gone home to meet his 
mother, Maria Rodriquez; his father, Martin Rodriquez; his sister and five 
brothers. He is survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, 
great-great-nieces and nephews, many friends and his union brothers at Local 
Union #220. Mancio spent his early years traveling between Texas and 
California sheering sheep with his closest friends. Later he settled with 
Granite Construction where he helped build our roads and highways here in Kern 
County. He was a member of Laborers Union Local #220. In retirement, his 
favorite times were spent running away to Las Vegas. He was loved by all that 
knew him and he will be deeply missed. For additional service or floral
