Harold J. Rogers 
August 18, 1939 - June 10, 2005 
Services: Sat., June 20, 10 a.m. 

Chapel services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2005, at Hillcrest Memorial 
Chapel, for Harold J. Rogers, who passed away June 10, 2005. Harold was born 
in Hico, West Virginia. He died peacefully at home after a long fight with 
Emphysema. Harold was in the Air Force for 5 years and for 40 years he was a 
U.S.P.S. Mail Carrier. Retired December 1, 2001, from the U.S.P.S. He loved 
shuffle board and table tennis with which he won numerous trophy awards, golf, 
bowling and miniature golfing with family, gardening, shopping and watching 
movies. He loved his kids dogs. Preceded in death by his father, Harold E. 
Rogers; sister, Maxine; brothers, Ronnie Rogers and Donnie Rogers. Harold is 
survived by his wife and best friend of 41 years, Doris Ruth; daughter, Chris 
Suzanne; mother, Mary L. Gilbert (Rogers) of Fayetteville, WV; brothers, David 
Rogers of Tucson, AZ, Clinton Rogers of Fayetteville, WV; nieces, Mandy D. 
Rogers of Tucson, AZ, Nikki Rogers of WV; nephews, Jimmie of TX, David Rogers 
Jr. of Tucson, AZ; great-nephew, Damien J. Rogers of Tucson, AZ; brother-in-
law and wife, Don L. Hynds and Chris M. Hynds of Bakersfield, CA; brother-in-
law, Hal D. Hynds of Fresno, CA; numerous uncles, aunts and friends. He will 
be in our Hearts Forever. He's Dancing in Heaven.
