Among other honors, he earned a Bronze Star Medal of Valor for his service as PFC in the Korean War. From 1949 to 1993, Manuel worked as a lineman for the Southern Pacific Railroad. He was an active member in his church. He loved to garden and feed his birds. Manuel always had a kind word and a laugh for anyone he met. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Roselyn; his only daughter, Rose Tetrick; eight brothers and sisters; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. Pallbearers will be Michael Tetrick, Bob Tetrick, Aaron Tetrick, Rick Rodriquez, Tony Rojas and Adrien Rojas. Honorary pallbearers are Richard Lopez, John Rojas and Anthony Ramirez.
