Iola M. (Rush) Harrison 
1913 -- 2005

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. in Greenlawn 
Cemetery for Iola M. (Rush) Harrison, 91, who died March 10th, in the Shafter 
Convalescent Hospital after an extended illness. Rev. Gayland Allen of North 
Heights Baptist Church will officiate. Iola was a native of New Mexico and has 
lived here most of her life. She was a long time member of North Heights 
Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Raymond Rush 
of 51 years and Norman Harrison of 3 years. A great-granddaughter and a great-
grandson. She is survived by her 3 children, Janice Hawley of Yuma, AZ. Donald 
Rush and wife Eva of Bakersfield, and Nita Ary and husband Howard of Spigler, 
OK; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Dennison Hyer of 
CO. 

Visitation will be Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Monday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 
Mission Family Mortuary, 531 California Avenue, Bakersfield.
