Hilda Alice Sagan 
Oct. 5, 1947 - Dec. 23, 2005 

Mass of the Christian Burial for Hilda Alice Sagan will be held at St. Francis 
of Assisi Catholic Church on Thursday morning, December 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. 
Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Hilda was born and raised in San 
Angelo, Texas and she moved to California in 1970 and made Bakersfield her 
home. She passed away December 23, 2005 after a brief illness. Hilda is 
preceded in death by her two sons, Thomas and Gregory Sagan; companion, Daniel 
(DeDe) Chavez and her parents, Rodulph and Juanita Salazar. She is survived by 
her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Holly Sagan; daughter, Theresa Sagan; 
daughter, Leslie Alvarez; brother, Rudolph Salazar; sister and brother-in-law, 
Corina and Jerry Soto of San Angelo, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia 
and John Luevano of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jacklin, Justin 
and Glenn Sagan Jr., Tiffany Neri, Gilbert and Ryan Ortiz, Savannah Shores and 
Jordan Alvarez as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other 
family members and friends. The family wants to extend a heart felt thank you 
to the staff at Good Samaritan and Mercy Hospitals. She was a loyal friend to 
all who knew her and she will be missed very much by her family and friends.
