Jose Louis San Miguel 
March 16, 1956 - Nov. 9, 2005 

Visitation for Jose Louis San Miguel will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles Street) on Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 5:00-9:00 P.M. with a Rosary 
recited at 7:00 P.M. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church (1515 Baker Street) on Monday morning, November 14, 2005 at 
10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Jose was born March 16, 
1956 and he entered eternal rest on November 9, 2005. Jose was a resident of 
Bakersfield all of his life. Jose attended local schools and he graduated from 
South High School in 1974. Jose worked at various jobs prior to his illness. 
Jose is survived by his beloved parents, Louie and Esther San Miguel. Jose, 
also known as Junior, will be missed for his love of a good card game at 
family gatherings as well as family trips to Las Vegas. Jose had been ill for 
several years but he never complained. He was a good son and good person. He 
will be missed by his many uncles, aunts and cousins. The family would like to 
express a special thank you to Jose's uncle, Manuel San Miguel, who was always 
there to take him to his doctor's appointments as well as to his many other 
appointments. He was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed. 
Pallbearers will be his cousins. For additional service or floral delivery
