He died at home November 10, 2005 at the young age of 43. He attended Bakersfield High School where he graduated in 1980. Bruce was a natural at most any sport in which he chose to participate, which included football, baseball and martial arts. He was only 8 years old when he caught his first glimpse into the world of racing which soon became his passion in life. Starting first on the Kart circuit, he raced successfully on both national and international levels. With numerous wins beneath his belt, he then moved on to tackle new challenges in the fields of both Stock Car & Top Fuel racing. Still unable to get his fill of success, with a grin that said Okay, So whats next? he then got behind the wheel of a Top Fuel Funny Car. The year 2001 began on a personal high with the marriage to his one true love Christine, and ended with a career-high sixth in the point standings in Top Fuel Funny Car. His successes and accomplishments in life were many, but nothing could compare to the birth of his only child, Cole, who was born in 1990. LilFeller was his pride and joy, and he embraced fatherhood wholeheartedly, complete with midnight feedings and diaper changes. Father and son quickly became one; best friends, inseparable forever. It wasnt often you would see one without the other. Bruce was a very unique, special, and charismatic person. He was greatly loved and will be missed immensely by his family, friends and fans. Bruce is survived by parents, Kenneth and Barbara; his precious son, Cole; special love, Christine; brother, Brian and his wife, Debbie; brother, Bren and his wife, Chimene and their children, Emmett, Evan and Julia; all which reside in Bakersfield, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. With truly heartfelt appreciation, Bruces family would like to give a very special thanks to each and every friend, teammate, sponsor, and fan for all of your love and support. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2005, at the Olive Drive Church, located at 5500 Olive Drive.
