Winifred Mae Schulz 
1924 - 2005 

Born Winifred Mae Schulz. Married O.L. Lewis in 1944 in Alhambra, CA. Moved to 
Bakersfield in 1945 and started her family. She was involved in the Antique 
Car Club, Her church, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildrens 
lives. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and was a unique and talented 
seamstress. She always gave away things shed make to family, friends, and the 
Rescue Mission. She was a kind and gentle soul and a wonderful witness for the 
Lord, whom she loved with all her heart. We are going to miss her presence and 
her wonderful laugh. But we know she is beside her Lord and Saviour, Jesus 
Christ. She left a wonderful legacy of her husband, Stogy, 3 children, 6 
grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, 1 nephew, 1 niece, 2 great-
nieces. Daughter, Sandy (Lewis) Richards, husband, John, children, Nanette, 2 
sons, Christopher Mazzier, Alex Richards, Genny Richards Trevino, husband, 
Robert, daughter, Baylee, son, Isaiah; Son, Mike Lewis, wife, Jan, daughters, 
Katy and Kara; Daughter, Barbara (Lewis) James, husband, Mark, daughters, Amy 
James, Kristina (James) Baker, husband, Rex, sons, Luke and Eli; Brother, Karl 
Schulz, wife, JoAn; Nephew, Jeff Schulz, wife, Sandra; Niece, Kay (Schulz) 
Wilmesher, husband, Jim, daughters, Meghan, Melanie. We will miss you, Wife, 
Mom, Oma, and Grandma, but will see you in Heaven when the time comes.
