JoAnn Winifred Schwab 
Feb. 3, 1925 - Jan. 5, 2006 

No services will be held for JoAnn Winifred Schwab, 80, who passed away 
January 5, 2006 Mrs. Schwab was born on February 3, 1925, in Bakersfield. She 
worked in sales for The Hallmark Company for 20 years. She was a life long 
member of Phi Alpha Kappa, Philanthropic Sorority that is involved with 
multiple sclerosis. Mrs. Schwab loved her children and grandchildren. She was 
preceded in death by her husband Carl L. Schwab Jr., and daughter Pattie 
Byrnes. She is survived by daughters Susan McCall and Katie Schwab; grandsons 
Adam McCall and Jeremy Byrnes; granddaughter Wynter Byrnes; three great-
grandchildren; brother Hollis Shannon and family; sons-in-law Frank Byrnes and 
Rick Blethen. Special Thank you to Optimal Hospice.
