Services: Fri., Oct. 28, 11:30 a.m. 

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd, 
for Janice Penfield, 59, who passed away October 25, 2005, in Bakersfield. 
Rev. Brett Heniser will officiate. Janice Penfield was born on October 23, 
1946, to Morris and Gladys Seaman. She lived in Bakersfield her entire life 
where she enjoyed a modest life of western culture. She raised two daughters 
and participated in Professional Rodeos with her family for more than 20 
years. She particularly enjoyed packing on horseback into the High Sierras, 
and helping with branding at local area ranches. She was employed for 11 years 
by Big Lots Stores Inc. Janice was preceded in death by her parents. She is 
survived by her daughter, Suellen Penfield; daughter, Patricia and husband, 
Brett Heniser and grandchildren, Christen, Katie, Michael, William Patrick and 
numerous beloved pets. She was loved and will be missed by all.
