Secundino Garza Segura (Tino) 
1919 - 2005 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday 10/12/2005 from 5-9 p.m. with the 
Rosary at 7 p.m. at Hopson-Anspach Mortuary in Lamont. A Mass of Christian 
Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 
Fr. Schmoll will officiate and interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial 
Park. Tino was born November 16, 1919 in Del Rio Texas to Medejildo and 
Manuela Segura, he was 1 of 3 children who were orphaned at a young age and he 
did not receive a formal education. He served in the Army during World War II 
and upon returning home he married the love of his life, Josie Torres and 
settled in Santa Clara County. Tino then began work as a carpenter and an 
independent businessman in fields such as: locksmith, merchant and bicycle 
maintenance. He was able to overcome a lot even without an education, to be a 
successful businessman; he was a hard worker up to the day of his passing. 
Tino was predeceased by his parents; children LuGene and Ralphie; and his 
sister Maria. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Josie; children, 
Richard, Raymond, Linda, Julie and Ronnie; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-
grandchildren; brother, Mauricio; and numerous friends and family members.
