Wilma Shearer

Services: Wed., Jan. 18, 12:00 p.m. 

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2006, 12:00 p.m., at 
Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary. Wilma Shearer was born in Paragould, 
Arkansas, on May 8, 1914 and passed away on January 14, 2006. The family came 
to Bakersfield in 1937. Wilma worked as a Retail Clerk at Montgomery Wards, 
Fedway Department Store and retired from Sages in 1976. She was preceded in 
death by her beloved husband and two daughters. Wilma is survived by her son, 
Larry Shearer and wife, Joy; daughter, Barbara Haney and son-in-law, Jack and 
daughter, Yvonne Tanner; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-
great-grandchildren.
